My Plug-of-the-Week is Stitcher. Stitcher is a fantastic app for subscribing to and listening to podcasts. I used Stitcher for a year and a half, and then I tried the Apple Podcast app. I’m now back to using Stitcher. One of the big things I like about Stitcher is that I can listen at 2x speed, and it sounds better than 1.5x speed on the Apple Podcast app. You can also download the episodes on Wi-fi and listen to them anywhere (nice for helping my data plan go farther).
Mark shares several great things about using projects:
- Specificity breeds results.
- Parkinson’s Law: “work expands so as to fill the time available for its completion.”
- No one is an island
Here’s two resources Mark recommends:
After the interview, I introduce a little bit about my goals for 2014. I’ll be covering this more in the next episode, and sharing different ways that I’m approaching them this year.
Other interviews coming up include Dave Jackson with the School of Podcasting and Kent Sanders from The Artist’s Suitcase podcast.
Don’t forget to get your free copy of Mark’s book, “Project: Success” for a limited time!
